Joyce Love (1951-2008)
Assistant Director of CeaseFireJoyce Love served as the long-time assistant director and was one of the originators of CeaseFire. On December 11, 2008, Joyce passed away at her home in Hyde Park. She was an important part of our program and a friend to us all. She devoted her life to help to stop gang violence and change Chicago neighborhoods for the better.
